Week Three
Fruit is nature’s candy. While you shouldn’t feed a baby sugar, fructose in fruit is still fair game! If you can’t get fresh peaches this time of year, try frozen ones. (Pro tip for making baby food: buy frozen fruits and vegetables. They cook faster, and mash better)
Second item on the list is a year-round favorite, bananas.
Peach (makes 3 servings)
Two to Three large peaches
Cut peaches into halves or quarters and remove the pit. In a small saucepan, bring four cups of water to a boil. Add peaches and boil for about 5 minutes, just until tender. Mash or puree in a blender or food processor. Add 1 packet or 2 scoops Lil Mixins.
Banana (makes 2 servings)
1 ripe banana
Mash with a fork on a cutting board. Get any angst out. Fold in 1 packet or 2 scoops Lil Mixins.
